WARM SPICE HALLOUMI BITES Crispy halloumi served with a Caribbean pepper dip
12 mins Serves: 4
Ingredients
250g halloumi, cut into 12–16 cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey (optional)
Pinch of black pepper
4 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 tsp Nimi Nosh Authentic Pepper Sauce
Juice 1⁄2 lime
1 clove garlic, minced
Pinch of salt
Optional: cilantro, spring onions, lime wedges, extra pepper sauce
Method
Pat halloumi cubes dry.
Mix yogurt, pepper sauce, lime, garlic, and salt for dip.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan; fry half halloumi 1–2 mins per side until golden. Remove and keep
warm.
Fry remaining halloumi with remaining oil.
Optional: drizzle honey over hot bites.
Serve with dip, garnish with cilantro, spring onions, lime, and extra pepper sauce.
