HONEY JERK BURGER
Caribbean jerk-glazed with a touch of sweet honey
20 Mins Serves: 4 Sweet potato fries, plantain chips, coleslaw, corn on the cob, or rice.
Beef or Lamb
Ingredients
For the Honey Fire Glaze
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Nimi Nosh Authentic Pepper Sauce
2 tbsp Nimi Nosh Epic Jerk Quick Marinade & Sauce
1 tbsp lime juice (optional)
For the Burgers
4 beef or lamb patties (125g each) 4 burger buns Lettuce, tomato, red onion Cheese & pickles (optional)
Oil for cooking
Simple Method
1 Make the Glaze
Mix honey, pepper sauce, jerk sauce, and lime juice. Reserve half for drizzling.
2 Cook the Patties
Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat:
Beef: 4–5 mins per side
Lamb: 5–6 mins per side
Brush generously with glaze in the last 2 minutes.
Add cheese in the final minute if using.
Toast buns lightly.
3 Build & Serve
Spread extra glaze on the bun.Add lettuce, patty, tomato, onion & pickles. Drizzle with more glaze. Top and serve hot.
